In a bizarre partnership that challenges usual expectations, the game developer has unveiled an virtual partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual holiday event continues from November 25 through December 22, offering no-cost bonus story content for Shadows players.

According to the formal release, "An unusual encounter pulls characters Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh adventure, where whispers of prohibited practices and terrifying changes resonate through the obscurity." The narrative features a "strangely garbed woman named Ada" who charges the characters with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her ally from a hidden sect.
The mission centers on "peculiar trials and a fearsome adversary" and is open to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Familiar Settings and Metamorphoses
The teaser highlights the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was formerly where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The teaser ends with a powerful moment showing a character, likely the hostage, transforming into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
